About this role

You will serve as a GOVERNMENT INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the COMAND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. You will review, analyze, coordinate, and processes complex FOIA requests involving multiple offices, sensitive records, privileged information, or high-visibility issues. You will research, analyze, and evaluate records, policies, case law, regulatory guidance, and precedent decisions to support responses to FOIA requests, appeals, complaints, congressional inquiries, and litigation support actions. You will serve as the principal advisor to leadership, managers, supervisors, attorneys, and subject matter experts on FOIA requirements, disclosure determinations, records management implications, privacy considerations, and release authorities.
